Hi everyone, my name is Melissa.
A couple of years ago I started working as a fulltime nurse in a hospital. I really thought that this was my dreamjob and I really do love to help people who can't do it by themselve because of a disease or being to sick. But the longer I worked in the hospital, the more unhappy I became. I was no longer getting satisfaction from this. It was hard and heavy work, the atmosphere among colleagues was not good either. Then a few months ago I fell into a burnout, I spend 5 months at home trying to process this. I lost all my self-confidence, self-love and joy in my job.
I have a dog and ride horses but I didn't have the energy to go for a walk everyday or to ride them. I was physically and mentally exhausted. I then changed jobs to a different hospital. I wanted to start over again but in a different place. At first I was very insecure and emotional and scared that I would experience it again. After settling in, things were already improving. I felt that I had made the right decision by leaving my previous workplace. The colleagues and the atmosphere were
much better. Even tough I started to feel better again at my new workplace, I still had little energy. I still had little motivation to go to the horses, walk the dog etc. I felt like I was still missing something. That's when I knew that this is not the life I want.
That's where I found this amazing online business opportunity. Everything just fell into place. In the beginning I was critical, but this soon disappeared when I met with my coach and saw the results of the fellow business owners. I took the plunge and started my journey. It took me a while to figure out how I was going to get everything done with my job as a nurse on the side. Even though it was super busy working and setting up the online business, my motivation for going to the horses and walking my dog everyday started to come back and I enjoyed it again. I have not once regretted starting the online business and look forward immensely to seeing how I will evolve in this.
